Why You’ll Love Baked Feta Salmon and Pasta

Creamy and crumbly feta baked with sweet tomatoes adds great flavor to pasta. The salmon makes it high in protein and rich in omega-3 fats, making it a healthy, nutrient-rich meal.

It’s easy to prepare. Add tomatoes, feta, spices, olive oil, and salmon to a baking dish while the pasta cooks, and your healthy meal is ready. Each serving provides 40 grams protein and 4.5 grams fiber.

Ingredients

  • Pasta: the carb source of the meal. Use your favorite pasta. I used fusilli, but penne, rotini, and many other types would also work well.
  • Spinach: good source of vitamins A, C, and K, and folate. Also, a source of plant-based iron.
  • Cherry tomatoes: rich in antioxidants and when baked, adds a sort of tomato sauce flavor.
  • Feta: when baked, adds creaminess. Also, provides protein, fat, calcium, and vitamin B12.
  • Garlic: adds flavor and antioxidants.
  • Olive oil: good fats and provides rich flavor.
  • Salt & pepper: salt enhances flavors.
  • Salmon: the protein source and high in healthy omega-3 fats and B vitamins.
  • Oregano: adds flavor.
